Keyword Search
Free text matching is intended to be used for quick and basic searching. This is the most common used method of searching for a job. User just inserts a keyword i.e. welder, fitter, driller or a series of keywords i.e drilling engineer in alaska, process operator in netherlands, roughneck texas high selary. Match4jobs then searches for job that matches your criteria best and displays relevant jobs in relevancy order
REMEMBER!
The more words you use to search for your job, the more relevant search results you will receive
TIP
Double quotation marks can be used to match on compound matching terms. An example of a compound matching word could be: "planning engineer".
Advanced Search
Advanced Search filters your search results based on your selection: Discipline, Region and Employer. An example could be: "planning engineer" as the matching string; with the Employer filter set as "Shell". Additionally, you can filter results based on their language, as well as the type of website that they are posted on.
Full CV Matching
To perform a full CV Matching you need to first register with Match4Jobs. During registration you will be asked to upload your personal CV. After activating your account you will be able to view the vacancies that match the information in your CV. Match4jobs matching algorithms uses the data extracted from your CV. It could be your last know job title or years of experience in the oil and gas industry, or location where you worked. This not only makes the search a lot easier (you don‘t need to know the words to describe your desired job) but also the results are a lot more accurate (your whole CV will be used to find the relevant vacancies).
REMEMBER!
Update your CV and make sure it includes all information about career, education, professional background and certificates to get the most relevant and interesting job offers.
TIP
You can adjust the results your CV provides either by changing your CV (for example include more relevant keywords for the job you are looking for) or by working with your profile and adding additional information
